    playback recording issue

    recently update software to 4.2 011 and I've noticed that when I fast forward or rewind a recording, theres a pause, then speeds up and then a pause speeds up. whereas before if I FF at 16x is was fluent

    my setting are set at 4x, 8x, 16x, 32, 64x, 128x
    PLEASE DO NOT PM IN REGARDS TO CS TALK OR OTHER ILEGAL MATTERS. IT WILL BE REPORTED TO THE ADMINS

    Just tried FF on 4.2.010 and it is working 100%. I'll move to 4.2.011 in the next few days and see how that goes.

    ....mmm, I've just tried it again on 4.2.010 and it's as bad as ever.

    I've been on 4.2 for about 5 weeks, it's not really an issue as I normally use the numeric keys to skip forward and back, it's just that since Ed Balls appeared on Strictly I've been using FF more, and noticed how bad it was.

    This reminds me... Who do I need to see about a feature request? Something along the lines of graying out certain programs from the EPG so they can't be selected. Think auto timer and *strictly* etc.
    Strange reply, it takes all sorts I suppose.
