General 'Update' Help, East Kent?

Hi,

I hope that someone can help... (first post and trying to observe all forum rules)

I've got a Vu+ Solo 2 with Vix 3.2 (build 37). I've had it just over 12 months and recently it is getting 'a bit flaky', for example no plugins are available and the message refers me to WoS, there are several other error screens.

I would really appreciate it, if there was someone local that could help me, obviously commercially, to update the software on my unit and get it functioning correctly again?

Sid, thanks for the pointer, but I'm at a point where I 'can't see the wood for the trees'!

I wouldn't know what to load first and where to go from there, which is why I'd rather pay someone for their help.

I think that I would make things worse and then I'd have my family on my back and a redundant screen!!! Cheers, Cary

You will need to update to the latest version. Unfortunately you will not be able to restore your settings from any backups and you will need to set it up from scratch.

If you have hard drive fitted you cam reflash from the box menu. Menu/setup/vix/image manager.

Cheers Ashley, being honest I'm hoping I can find someone locally that can do this for me.
