Question EPG on ET8500 using Openvix- oversized page for tv

I'm using latest Openvix on ET8500 and the EPG is oversized and extends beyond the size of tv screen, so can not see channel or picons?

What settings do I need to adjust as for other mediadevices I use its perfect and have no issues.

Turn off overscan on your tv, or if this isn't possible resize gui in setting menu.

Theres no overscan option on tv that I know off. So by re-adjusting the gui where can I find this under settings on the ET8500 box, I have tried to change font size, length and width of EPG under its settinsg but no effect?

Before going down the route of adjusting the guy, let's make sure your tv hasn't got a way of disabling overscan.
What make and model tv do you have?

EPG on ET8500 using Openvix- oversized pag

Issue has nothing to do with EPG, it is user interface not fitting properly owing to overscan.

    Main Menu/Setup/System/user interface/position setup

Your TV will probably have an over-scan option but possibly not called over scan. On my Samsung TV the setting is under Picture Options and the off is called 'Just Scan' and the over scan is called Wide Zoom.

What is your TV model? If known someone may look at the online manual to see what the option may be called.

    Page 56 of the e-manual

Fitting the picture to the screen
Settings -> Picture -> Picture Size -> Fit to Screen

Possibly also make sure that your box is outputting 1080i/p. main menu -> setup -> system - av settings -> mode = 1080i

I suspect that you have installed/added picons for a different provider.

    Which ones did you add/install?
    How did you add/install them?
