    et8000 external usb HDD - How can i transfer the to pc?

    How can get i the videos i have recorded onto my pc so i can edit them?

    i cant seem to get my laptop to open the drive. It sees the drive in storage manager but it doesnt show up in windows explorer

    the hard drive would be in a Linux file system, this is why windows does not see it.

    You can install applications to enable this (read only). Alternatively, leave hdd connected to receiver and transfer over network

    i didnt think about using ftp
