Help.. Ive bricked my gigablue HD quad by changing the skin !!!

Help please...

Ok.. I was using an original openvix image.. don't know which one and cant find out now.. the one with a satellite in the sky over planet earth..

Everything been good for ages... tonight I fancied a new skin.. so downloaded a few to try...
Selected one, GUI started to reboot.. but it just stuck on 49%.. and that's where it stayed...

So I downloaded latest image, onto a freshly formatted stick... thought this would reflash.. back in action.. NOPE!!!

It doesn't recognize that I have an image on the stick and does not ask if I want to flash... just into boot.. stops at 49%

Sorry if this is a little vague.. but I cant find out any info on the current image as its bricked !!!

How long have you left it at 49% for?

HDD installed? if so, disconnect it.
That shouldn't stop you flashing with a correctly formatted USB though.

Can you still FTP into the box? if so, delete the skin.

what size and make of stick used,they prefare max 8gb kingston usb.

Disconnect everything u have attached except for the USB stick and retry. Also, format stick and replace image.

Thanks guys.. I formatted a smaller stick, reflashed and all back to normal.. Keep up the great work Vix team..

I had the same issue after Hades wen't kaput.

I upgraded to 3.2.033 but on the first attempt I was able to get everything restored, then I changed the skin but it froze at 49% after trying the Night HD skin, I reflashed a second time but this time I used the YouVix Blue and all is well.
