    Question OnDemand plugin revival?

Now that Freeview has access to all the OnDemand services with Freeview Play - BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4, Demand 5... is there likely to be a revival of the OnDemand plug in for enigma? I hope there is because it's the only thing missing from OpenVIX, at least for me anyway

Extremely unlikely. With freeview / freesat you have officially licensed support from the terrestrial providers for their catchup services with E2 you have no support what so ever and never will for that matter. It's all done by amateur software developers in their own time and their own expense and the likes of the bbc / ch4 are not making things easy with ever changing goal posts and DRM etc.

I just assumed that if it was released to Freeview - they'd hopefully be relaxing some DRM as they would have no doubt had when it was exclusive to Sky / Virgin Media. Hope something can be done in the future

We will have to agree to disagree on that statement.

I use it mainly for "1 channel" and I find it runs faultlessly
