    vu+duo Netwok Mystery

I have a vu+duo running apollo. The network test reports all is ok, but when I try to download a firmware update or a list of addons the box reports no internet connection. It is connected to my netwok with ethernet cable and the network is connected to the internet. I can talk to the box with putty or filezilla or dbedit. I logged onto the box and used ping to check connections to various sites all responded well but still apollo does not think we are connected.
Any ideas about how to progress this ?
    Thanks
    Tony

Sounds like a DNS issue, you could try manually settings the nameservers on the device to 8.8.8.8 and add another one for 8.8.4.4
to see if it works any better.

Any reason why you're still using Apollo?
Best to use a current build if you want access to updated feeds.
