    Autobouquets E2: channel ordering help

    Good evening everyone , After some help please

    I have looked through the forums and tried several things already but no joy , so I think I am doing something silly but just need some guidance

    I like to have my channels in a custom order e.g.

    101 = BBC local area
    102 = BBC2
    103 = ITV Local area
    ...
    106 = S*Y1
    107 = S*Y1+1 etc etc

    I have tried editing the custom_swap.txt file to read like the above , rebooted the machine but it does not make any difference.

    I have tried the same with the custom_sort3.txt file but again no difference.

    Could somebody advise

    What file I need to update
    Does anyone have an example I could edit

    If I am barking up the wrong tree can anyone provide me with a "noddies" guide as to what I need to do

    As always , Thanks for any help received

    Have you run the plugin after making your changes?
    Why not use the inbuilt ABM?

    Your customswap file is set up incorrect, you need to use notepad++ or the equivalent.

    Your layout needs to be:
    101=141
    102=142
    .....etc (except use the channel numbers you want to swap)
