    possible upgrade

    I currently have the xpeedlx2 and am considering in getting the xtrend 8000
    what difference will I see or get in the new one...setting it up will it be similar to what I had to do with the xpeedlx2

    The ET8000 is just a better spec receiver. It will be faster and obviously it gives you better options in regards what tuners you want to have since the ET8000 has 3 plug and play tuners.

    I don't have one but they are getting very good reviews by the looks of it and with the price the sponsor is currently selling them for its a real bargain...

    Will the extra tuner allow me to record another broadcast..?

    Yes it will.. You could even have a mix and match of tuners so you could have 2 satellite tuners and 1 Terrestrial tuner or cable tuner.. All depends on where you are and what's available to you in your area!!
