hi there, updated my vu+duo2 tonight and installed xbmc launcher via the plugins menu, and now when I try to launch xbmc it just goes to a black screen then back to tv....
is this a bug or have I missed something.?
Mine did the same until I did a fresh install ver 142 then it opened ok, but not working 100%

I had the same issue of black screen on solo2
You need to do a fresh install. I did one without any settings/plugins restore and works for me. Took me 10 mins max to setup my receiver after a fresh flash.

I can't get the plugin to play my mkv from my NAS on solo2 and duo2, it scrapes them fine but just shows a black screen when trying to play back, for the record all mkv on the NAS playback ok on solo2 and duo2 via inbuilt media player.Originally Posted by terminator2k2

It worked for me after fresh install and settings backup.
Vix image (usually latest) - VU Solo 4K- WD 1TB INTERNAL HDD - DVB-T Freeview, trialling IPTV options

re-installed image from fresh and all working fine....xbmc works better than I thought it would....
just 1 thing though....is there anything on the remote that acts as a mouse right click action? only reason I ask is I wanted to delete a file share for videos, the only way I found how to do it was to use a mouse and delete the share that way....

Have tried google before asking for help, & I don't have a Mac
repository.superrepo.org.gotham.all-latest
copy it to a path you can access from XBMC on the receiver.
In XBMC go to systems / all-ons /
install from zip file
Locate the file and install it
then look in Get Add-ons
Then install what you fancy.
It has all you will need
