Custom AutoBouquetsMaker XML provider not displaying

    Hi All,

I want to switch the black HD channels with the working SD channels.

    I followed the instructions here;

    http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...-E2-with-a-cam

And downloaded the XML file and copied to the location, restarted my VU+ solo2, enabled ABM expert mode, but the "Sky England Black & swap channels" provider doesnt show up under providers.

I did notice I only have four providers in my ABM

    FreeSat
    SkyScotland
    Sky IRL
    Sky UK

Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

What image & build number are you using?
Also, no need for any restarts after transferring the file to the correct location.

You are using an old image guessing by names of those xmls. What image build number are you using? Best you flash a new image and try again.

Your thread will be moved to the ABM support section.

Thats very out of date now. Needs a complete fresh USB flash with lates Vix Apollo image.
Dont restore anything if prompted to during initial setup of the new image.

OK i've installed Apollo 012 and one of the boot questions is "A backup has been detected".

Should I skip the restore? If yes, can I restore later?

No, the back-up from 3.x builds won't restore on Apollo builds even if you choose yes.
You can extract the back up on a PC & restore some parts manually though if you really need to.

Menu -> Setup -> System -> Auto language selection -> Prefer audio track stored by service = no, then E2 restart.
