Editing SD / HD channel numbers since $ky killed off HD

Yeah he's got set wrong, if he puts hide pli placeholders to yes. That will sort out! :-)

Is there anyway when selecting a category in the bouquets (ie movies) that the channels also change to the SD version?

If i press 301 or goto the all channels section everything is in the right place but if select the movies sections etc etc i get thisAttachment 35468

Swap trick only works in main bouquet on abm... (Sort of).

Did you have a chance to check the $ky Sports News [405] >> $ky Sports 4 instead issue? I just installed the currently available ABM XML and when choosing 405 for S.S.News from the keypad we still seem to go to Ch.436 (S.S.Four) instead of S.S.News.

UPDATE: We seem to get S.S.News SD on Ch.1285 so I tried changing some key values in your XML: <channel number="1285" with="405" />

Now when keying 405 we go to....err, 405 (S.S.N.HD which of course fails to clear.). Evidently this is not as easy as I'd hoped! ;-)

Hi Abu,

I would like to make my own little custom swap, can you point me in the right direction what to do? I have set ABM to SD region and what I want to try first is swapping BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 and CH5 standard def to high def.

Any help would be appreciated.

No you can't swap channels in any bouquet other than main bouquet unless you want to try and get creative with your sections but I wouldn't advise it...

You will have to edit the filter section so that your SD region is also included in the list of regions that allow HD swap.

Transfer it. You will be asked if you want to replace existing one, say yes.

(Same thing as deleting existing modified one and then transferring new modified one). Hope that makes sense.
