Octagon XP10000 Plus Newbie help please

Hi guys just taken delivery of my new Octagpn 1000XP Plus thanks to the May special deal.

Very nice box but I have to confess I am treating it with kid gloves.

Previously had clones, sorry about that.

I am trying to set up my new box so I can record to a USB however have got a bit bogged down after going into set up and recorder settings. Cannot seem to get further than that.

Can some one help me out with an "idiots guide"?

    Thanks in advance.

    USB stick or external HDD?
If you format it in the box, it will set it all up for you & those default settings will be fine.
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Storage devices -> Initialisation.

Ok so it helps if I push the USB right in.

Right I have initialized it does that mean all recordings will automatically go to USB?
