I dont know where all this talk of scrapping comes from, well I do and those persons (not you) don't know what there talking about.
Zeus, Helios and soon Apollo are all technically part of the same Image line, created from our own OE. The problem is that as the OE evolves, there come times when we need our users to reflash the receiver rather than using the online update option, so as not to cause them and us a lot of unnecessary problems. As with the previous ViX 3.0 images our users have time and time again ignored any and all such advice, so we took steps to force them to reflash. hence the image name changes. You can still use a settings backup between the three images (although you wont be able to use a ViX 3.0 settings update with any newer image).

Still waiting to test the image on a actual receiver as far as i'm aware, once than happens and we are happy it works as expected, the image will be released. but we wont release any image that has not been at least tested on the hardware it is meant to support.Might as well join in ,will Apollo go on the quad plus ?

Any ideas about flashing on a TM-2T coz the Helios images wouldnt work very well (needed full reboots to be usable), so I went back to Zeus 23 coz that seems to run great
Is is still to do with lack of new drivers from Technomate?
I love the vix images, its just a pain that TM don't pull their damnout of their Arse-nals
Im beginning to wish I had spent an extra few quid and bought a Vu+ solo2
Stay on Zeus for now when using TM boxes.
We are testing new drivers & still waiting on bug fixes from TM.
Blackhole Images need a new flash every time there's an update so count yourself lucky we don't do all the time lol
