    Yes. You sure the card hasn't expired or been paired? What channels does it currently clear?

    I copied your code exactly to create the oscam.conf file, i didn't amend the ip address in the code as mine is in the 192.168.x.xx - was i correct there?
    I did use notepad++ as well.
    When i open webif, i put in my ip address and get my box no problems, but when i add port 12347 to the address as instructed i get the message that the page could not be found.
    Also, i did not create the oscam.server or oscam.user files as i'm using the internal HDD, from reading that guide my understanding is that i'd only need to do that if i was using a USB stick, please correct me if i'm wrong there - thanks a lot
    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. If you're unsure what needs to be configured then for simplicity you really should just add the oscam.server and oscam.user files. My comments about USB / HDD were related to some of the lines in the oscam.conf file.

    However, if you feel confident, and you've created the oscam.conf file, started oscam from your remote, and can access oscam from your web browser, then you will be able to create the oscam.server and oscam.user files from the oscam web interface.

    Does this mean you can now access the oscam web interface?

    it gets FTA sky channels but not the HD ones, nor the sports / movies, kids channels etc...my card hasn't expired as i take it out and put it into the Sky HD box still, since i amn't getting the channels on the solo 2...maybe it's just the sky encryption that's the problem

    yes i can access the oscam interface via my ip address, it just fails at the bit where i input the port after the ip address - i'm assuming webif is the interface, and yes i have oscam plugin installed in the cam manager section

    I don't really understand that. If you don't add the port number, then you would normally just land at the OpenWebIf page. Do you have the line httpport = 12347 in your oscam.conf file? And what is the IP address of your box?

    Edit: I also notice from your earlier post that you only have 2 lines in the [webif] section. You should have more than that!

    Code:
    [webif]
    httpport                      = 12347
    httpuser                      = mubbashir
    httppwd                       = abc123
    httptpl                       = /media/hdd/oscam_picons
    httprefresh                   = 10
    httphideidleclients           = 1
    httpshowpicons                = 1
    httpallowed                   = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255
    Edit 2: no. OpenWebIf is not the OSCAM interface. It's the general box interface.

    Thanks for helping - i'm thinking maybe this is beyond me, yes i have the httpport = 12347, and is it safe for me to put my own ip address on this forum?
    i basically copied and pasted the code that you had put in your linked thread guide earlier, this is the code i copied from your guide...
    Create the following files, and using FileZilla copy over to /etc/tuxbox/config:

    oscam.conf
    Code:
    [global]
    logfile = /media/hdd/oscam/log/oscam.log
    disableuserfile = 0
    nice = -1
    maxlogsize = 50
    preferlocalcards = 1
    usrfile = /media/hdd/oscam/log/oscamuser.log
    emmlogdir = /media/hdd/oscam/log/emm/
    lb_mode = 1
    lb_nbest_readers = 2
    lb_reopen_mode = 1
    failbantime = 10

    [cs357x]
    port = 12345

    [newcamd]
    port = 12346@0963:000000
    allowed = 1.0.0.0-255.255.255.255
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314

    [dvbapi]
    enabled = 1
    au = 1
    decodeforever = 1
    user = mubbashir
    boxtype = dm7000

    [webif]
    httpport = 12347
    httpuser = mubbashir
    httppwd = abc123
    httptpl = /media/hdd/oscam_picons
    httprefresh = 10
    httphideidleclients = 1
    httpshowpicons = 1
    httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255

    If your IP address is in the private range (192.168.x.x) then it's safe to post. Make sure you copy over the oscam.server and oscam.user files too.

    Don't give up! We'll get you there...

    it's 192.168.1.64 - should i add this into the code somewhere and yes i'll transfer those other files now as well, do both the server and user files go into the config folder as well?

    You have httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255, while your IP is 192.168.1.64

    Ok. Firstly, you'll need to modify the httpallowed line in oscam.server to:

    Code:
    httpallowed                   = 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255
    And yes. The oscam.server and oscam.user files go to /etc/tux box/config

    You should then be able to access your oscam webif by typing 192.168.1.64:12347 into your web browser

    Tried all that - copied your previous linked thread codes for .server and .user and still no change, i can access webif via just my ip address, but not when i add the port number.
    Above you said i need to enter the http allowed code to the .server file, am i right in thinking you meant into the .conf file?

    Judge - i assume just writing...

    httpallowed = 192.168.1.64 won't work as the codes seem to be a lot longer than just your ip address??

    Yes. Sorry. I meant the .conf file. What you suggest for httpallowed should work fine. Remember to restart oscam from your remote control when you make these changes to reload these files.
