    Vu+ Duo2

    Sorry for what may sound daft....replacing my s*y box
    I am waiting on my duo2 to arrive. I got vix preloaded and ordered a DVD c/T tuner.
    Now after fitting the tuner can I plug in the 2 sat cables from my old s*y box and watch tv?
    I know there is soooooo much more to do but just that herself can watch stuff before I start messing around.

    yes you can use your old dish to receive FTA ( free to air channels ), but these receivers are not plug and play. also the tuner your referenced is a dual or combo cable / terrestrial ( tv Ariel needed ) tuner. so you will also need a DVB-S/S2 tuner card to use with your satellite dish.

    Doesn't it come.with a twin dvb s/s2 installed?
    I.know.the other tuner is for.terrestial and.I have an area aswell.so.no.problem there

    yes it comes with one as standard, i was just queering if you swapped it or ordered it as a extra.

    Ordered as.extra.to enable irish terrestial channels. So I should be good to go out if the box then set up properly following day
