Duplicate recordings delete / manager

Hi, My girlfriend records alot for children programs for the kids, alot of the recordings already on the hard drive are duplicates is there anyway or any plug-in that can sort through these and delete duplicate recordings to free up some hard drive space,

When your in your HDD recordings, do you have separate files and folders for different programmes? Or are they all just listed as they have been recorded? If just a list you can press the Blue button to re arrange list by A-z which would list your recordings alphabetically then you could see duplicates easier and therefore easy to delete..? You could also do something similar if your drive was networked to a pc and use windows explorer to list, organise and delete your recordings..?
