Setting up multiple sats with DISEqC ?

    Hi Guys

Im after some advice on above at the moment i have my motor/dish parked on 28.2E
and tuner cofiguration set as expert, how do i go about adding another sat say 13.0E ???

As i dont like using USALS, i found DISEqC better once i get sat found i can fine tune
    using East/West buttons....

    Thanks in advance...
If its not broken don't attempt to fix it, it could get alot worse "

Why don't you set it up using USALS and then tweak your longitude position? Use dishpointer as a starting point and then change the longitude value until you get a higher SNR on the weaker satellites e.g 7.0w

    Hi afc_rich

Are you saying to find sat with usals, then switch to DISEqC, then save postion in box
then tweak, can i still stay in expert setup in service searching...??

USALS and diseqc 1.2 are completely different you either use one or the other.

    1) Go to dishpointer.com and put in your postcode. It will give you a longitude and latitude value.
    2) Set up your tuner like this:
    - config - simple
    - mode - positioner
    - longitude - from dishpointer
    - latitude - from dishpointer
    - Save

If your dish has been installed correctly then it should follow the arc and there should be know more config required.

Try zapping to channels on various satellites and let me know what your results are.

What size dish do you have? What satellites are you trying to reach?
