Is there a plugin which shows the signal strength when I change channel
The only way to check tuner strength correctly is an external meter.

You can also allow 2nd info bar which will show the SNR and AGC.
Menu > Setup > System > User Interface > Settings >
However, if you are still tweaking your dish, consider using Sat finder.
Menu > Setup > Service Searching > Sat finder
