    HD channels pixilating

I have re-flashed with black hole 1.3 and am now experiencing occassional pixelating on HD channels. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Check your tuner settings, long & latitude. Pixelating would be a signal issue imo. Is this happening on premium or FTA channels?

Pixelating in HD channels usually occurs when the signal strength/quality is not good enough. Please check if your dish is pointing to an optimal direction. You could use signal meters if you have one, or use the software based signal meters which should be part of the Tuning screens.

sorry for late return on this. The problem seems to have cured itself. Seems very strange. ITV HD was absolutely unwatchable night b4 last.

Do you have a motorized dish? Maybe the dish was slightly out of position or something?

I do have a motorised dish although it pretty much sits at 28e permanently. The dish is open to high wind due to the height of it but not had much recently so wouldn't have thought it was. guess I'll worry about it when it happens again!
