    Hi

Thanks for your help on this.

I have done all that ok, I am getting all of the normal channels (BBC etc) but not getting any of the Sky channels for some reason?

I have a Sky dish mounted on the wall

    Re: Hi - Updates?

Do you have a sky subscription?
If so, have you installed and activated you're softcam, and .cfg file.

.....seems a silly question, but it has been known

    Re: Hi - Updates?

That's why you not getting sky channels.
You need to get a subscription, whether it be legitimate through sky. Or by another means which I'm not allowed to talk about on this forum.

    Re: Hi - Updates?

For now you need to set up you're bouquet (channel pack) so you can watch as many free channels as possible. Go into menu-setup-service searching
    Auto bouquets maker

Set this up for you're tv region and scan this will find all available channels including freeSat if you set it up to.

You need to reinstall you're softcam, most probably cccam version 2.2.1 you can get it from openvix again in the softcam section

Would I then save that onto USB and then follow same process at the back of the box?

    Re: Hi - Updates?

Because you are on a recent build, the easiest way to load softcam is to extract the.ipk file to root of usb again, and plug it into box again, but this time while box and tv is on, but not in a menu it has be on live tv. It should then recognize the usb automatically and ask to install the .ipk file.

You will then need to setup a .cfg file, but can't really go into that. Sorry.
