Setting up external HDD issue

Hi


I have now decided to change over from my BH image to Vix however I am having issues setting up the external HDD. I have used the excellent setup guide , however when I initialise it only gets to 99% then times out. I have also tried to setup a mount but this only causes a crash on my system.I have version 3.0 build 553.

I have had the HDD working OK on the BH image


Anyone who may be able to assist I would appreciate.

i could never get it to work in bh. i didnt bother with the initialise i just converted it from ext 3 to ext4 in system/harddisk then went to vix manager and mounted it
