    Lightbulb Extrend 9500 or ultimo?

    Need your help guys with your opinions as I'm new too the whole vu/extrend which would be the best buy and why please?

    The Ultimo can be upgraded to a triple tuner, so I would vote for that. I have been using one here for severall months and its a solid well built box, wont win any beauty contests but than am not taking it out on a date.

    depends on your inputs - satellite or DVB. You need to define your requirements more clearly.
    I have a ET9200 with 2 satellite cards (which is very good and reliable), but the 9500 has only 1 - pretty limited.
    The new boxes are more flexible in terms of card choice but it depends on what you need - for me these new boxes look more like a fashion choice than a technical choice

    I want it for satallite to watch and record same time like sly+ box really and for the dreaded @%#$ line we can't mention here this is my intension really not so much for cards the et9500 is £80 cheaper so another reason why I'm unsure
