Extended Recording

Is it possible when a timer is set that if the program over runs like last nights olympics closing cerenomy , that the recording continues automatically with the program.

I had a timer set but it stopped recording at the sheduled time some 40 mins short of the program finishing as it got extended.

yes and no. There is a plugin called VPS which monitors changes in EPG BUT the provider must deliver correct information. In Germany only some public channel support this.
