Yes they are highlighted in green, thanks for your help Sicillan and to all who has been helping me on this forum, it is difficult if you have never used a linux system before, it is some what different. I will read up on DBedit guide and hopefully make sense of it.

This sounds like its missing transponders download the (DreamboxUK Services Database) do a search on google.
its from another forum so i don't want to break rules here..
Once you get it its ease to update all your channels for sly uk...all channels can also be sorted like a original sky box.
Make sure you tick all the correct boxes like create lamedb and satalites.html

Then just upload to your vu+ reboot and go into your tuner settings select 28.3 it will be the only one on the list now.
and thats it you don't need to rescan as all channels are already in your lamedb.

If you'r still having the proplem you may have a tuner problem as you said its ok on your other box....

i would contact your retailer if this is the case..

Good evening guys i have upoaded the new DreamboxUK Database for london to the box , added all i needed including lamedb,, i rebooted the box, selected 28:2e which was the only one in the list, Tuner A set as simple, single, diseqc no. When i select FTA channels most say SID not found on PAT and others say tune failed ITV 1 London is showing though nothing else?

When i put the cable back into my openbox all the channels are there, it must be pointing to 28E?!, I tried with the diseqc on, but the tune fail comes up all the time.

I am just rereading this thread, but what is the issue, is it with the units tuners, or a usb tuner?
    Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100
    1.2 channel master/quad feedhorn/36volt /vbox
1 fixed dish, and 1 motorized 1mtr dish
and a pile of redundant cards/cams

ok,..i think i know your problem

when you selected "clear before scan" you effectivly wiped your listings, you then most likely scanned "single transponder" instead of single saterllite

thats why your listings are limited

best thing to do, is redownload a settings list

menu/plugins...green button, a list of downloadable plugins will appear, ( if unit is net work connected ) go to the settins option, and within it, you will see a list of channel settings, select which one that suits you, I prefer CATSeye listings,...give it one more go, as it is a very good unit

    Hi Basil,

Thanks for the info, i put on the channel list as you suggested, all the channel are present in favourites, when i select any FTA channesl there is no picture or sound although signal strengh is quite high 85 snr 89 agc BBC1 London, BBC2 London etc, no HD Channels showing, CHANNEL 4 HD showS SNR 75 AGC 76 along with some of the other HD channels, no tune fail or SID not found on PAT comes up, I don't know why no picture is showing.
