    ACK 540RF Keyboard

I'm having some problems with the keyboard.

I can only use the arrow, pageup/down, backspace, enter keys?

I don't think it's a NumLock problem, because the numerics will not enter in fields either.

the keyboard is listed under input devices twice also.

It's being recognized(some keys work) but I can't enter text or numbers either on web pages or searches in VIX.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've restarted several times.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have an ET 9200, I switched to HDFreaks 4.9.3 four days ago. VIX 2.3&2.4 are the most feature-packed and user-friendly images, however, for me, both of them were very unstable(crashes, locks up a lot) for me.

I also tried this keyboard on VIX 2.4 with the same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if that is the case submit your crash logs so that we can try to find out why your image is so unstable otherwise there is little to nothing we can do for you.

I'm not bashing the image or the image team. As I said, in my opinion, it's the most feature-packed/user-friendly image available. But it was unstable for me, that's all. I'm not asking or requesting info about why it was unstable for me.

I've also learned a shed-load of info from this site, thanks.

Has anybody been able to use ANY keyboard and have it function with HbbTV or web browser the same as a PC?

    Thanks for your help.

no one suggested you were, but without crashlogs there is little to nothing we can do to remedy your problems. crashlogs are invaluable to us to help us find and where possible fix errors otherwise it's guess work which does no one any good.

The keyboard works but is a bit clunky. While typing at times I get the same character repeated multiple times on a single keystroke. I read somewhere on the forum someone else reported the same issue.

    Thanks for your replies.

    Kunmun,

Did you have to do/change/activate anything special to get it to work?

Mine is listed under Input Devices twice...is this correct? Could this be the problem?

I read on another forum that it's a problem with kernel 3.3...anyone believe this??

    Thanks.
