vix nightHD skin

is it posible that the vix nightHD skin is causing all our boxes to crash and freeze as i have no problems with my system until i installed it. evan youtube used to work before i installed it, but never give the box chance to run its corse to see if the freezing ang rebooting still happened before, think a fresh install without that skin would probably be needed to test but would like to if anyone with out the skin added are getting the same issue.

use vix day for now

the new update comming soon has vix night as default and so far no issues been seen

The ViX Night HD skin is the default skin and non removable, you can of course download and use any other skin of your choice which may help you to confirm or deny your hypothesis. However doubtful that may be.

If there is a crash please post/send the crashreport. Without one we would need a crystal ball......

well ill just have to wait till the next update as i dont have anything in the crash log as its a random freeze i get and i end up having to switch the box off and on to get it back on

OK, that is a systemcrash then, abd then there will be no crashlog indeed.
Very doubtful however that this is skin-related.

Would this skin work the gigablue 800se. I have vix on my et 9000 and know there is no image support so was wondering if skin could be used.

At present the ViX skins are only available on official ViX images or images compiled from the OpenViX GIT.

Hi just wondering if the Satellite Position could be added to the all channels list or even in the channels list in bouquets for the VIX_NIGHT_HD skin.
The Skin is perfect but its annoying that I dont know which Satellite the channel is on without choosing it and checking the info screen. I had this added myself on the older skins but VIX_NIGHT_HD doesnt work anymore on e2skinner and I tried notepad++ to edit it but after a few green screens I gave up.
I imagine thats its getting late in the day for the next version but would appreciate if it could be included.
You can see in the attachment when you have several entries of the same channel on different satellites you dont know which is which..

Nope.
Orbital position has to be added to the screen.

Sorry I Mean to appear on the screen. So when you scroll down through the channels you see what satellite the channel is on.
