Thread: VU+ stuck at 'Starting...'

    you prob need the tuner replaced

    and then there is which tuner as duo is a twin unless its a single unit i cant remeber

    but there si also the slight posability that the kernal is corrupt and due to that the tuner is failing

    try this

    reflash the DUO CFE again then flash the image

    and whilest doing both get a serial output

    i wanna see if anything fails there

    dunno if spare tuners can be brought let alone what yr soldering skills are like

    You can buy a replacement main board assembly which comes with the tuners but it's not a cheap option and i have only seen them on sale in Australia of all places

    Nope - thats me that had a finger there (checking for signs of excessive heat (after it was powered down) = missing dust.
