    BBC reveals 3D/online Olympics strategy

DIGITAL TV SUMMIT – 2011. The BBC plans to deliver some of its coverage of next year’s Olympic Games in 3D, according to Roger Mosey, director of London, 2012, BBC.

However, he did not provide any further details, other than it would be on an experimental basis, like Wimbledon.

Mosey also said that the BBC, though not the host broadcaster, has all the UK multiplatform rights to the Games, amounting to 2,500 unique hours of sport.

This will be offered in its entirety in 24 live streams but be subjected to geo-blocking in some territories outside the UK.
All PM,s asking about c/s on cable will be ignored and reported to forum staff!
