Hunt For Woman Who Stole Boy's Grave Flowers

Police are searching for a woman who has been caught on CCTV taking flowers from a child's grave.

The family of Robert Stringer set up a camera overlooking the site after items began to go missing.

The images show the elderly woman kneeling by Robert's grave before walking away with flowers in a bag.

Robert, who was 11, was killed after being hit by a car in 1980.

His parents were buried alongside him at the Ripplesdale Cemetery in Barking, East London.

Robert's cousin, Steve Rose, told the Barking and Dagenham Post the family had left notes asking whoever was taking items to stop.

He said the camera had been a "last resort".

Mr Rose said he believed the thefts were random and the family had not been targeted.

How callous can you be!! it beggars belief that some one can be so insensitive to stoop to stealing flowers from a child's grave.
