Pause on Channel Change When HDD sleeping

I have my HDD set to sleep after 15 mins and, when I change channels, there is a delay while the HDD spins up. I'm fairly sure this did not happen with a previous image that I used but, am I imagining things? Do they all do that?

    Image is openpli-2010-05-21

    Cheers

I'm guessing you're using picons for your image, and those picons are likely to be stored on your hdd...

Best thing you can do, is to remove the picons from your hdd, and put them on a memory stick... This should stop the spin up when you change channel...
