Tutorial required for creating HD Picons.

Hi Everybody,

Does anybody have a tutorial for creating good HD picons. If not, would anybody be willing to create one.

I have been attempting to create some of my own HD picons, in order to fill a few gaps in my collection.

I have been able to achieve some results, but not quite to the standard that i would like.

I came across a video tutorial, but it was in German and the end result was pretty poor.

I am after creating picons to the standard of the ones pictured below.

Any help would be much appreciated, I am currently using Photoshop.

I make mine on photoshop if you know how to use it then it's just a case of keeping them 100x60 and make sure they are indexed and saved as pngs

I'm using Photoshop too, I have the correct sizes but jus cant get them to look as bright and shiny. What do you mean by making sure they are indexed?

thats the colour pallete they need to be

and also use styles

bevel and emboss dropshadow innerglow

things like that

but personally if i was you i would just go with premade ones

far more eisier for you

and vix have their own picons now as you can see above made by me

and if demand is high then i can do all satellites

but its all down to user input on them

if you mean, making your own, the answer is in post 4 of this thread

if you want them on your setup via download direct to your unit, look in down load plugins on your reciever

menu/plugins/green button...scroll down the list to picons, and select

Silverfox no longer produces Picons or Bouquets for the ViX team. I suggest you try either the SGTFlipFlop picons or the MMCMEDIA ones. both can be found in the picon section.

hi quick question im trying to make a few of my own picons for certain channels but when i put them to the size 100-60 as suggested the picture goes pixilated any ideas why ? and as for software im using corel paintshop pro x4
