Inter channel delay on Irdetto services

    Hi all,

We have a pair of VU+Duo4kSE's we use for testing and one for the HT.

Since Vix 5.4.013 their is a significant delay just on our services' with the CAM and Card (Government Authorised Pay to View Free to Air service, VAST yes only in Australia, bird is Optus D3/10).

We have tried all the later releases but there are enough complaints, no one wants to use the satellite because the terrestrial services are almost instant between channels on change.

Notably open satellite services such as Aljazeera, TRT have no selection delay at all, we can switch between them on a transponder also carrying the VAST services (Irdetto) as quickly as terrestrial selection.

So, yesterday I reverted to Vix 5.4.0.13 for the present.

    Any help appreciated.

Yes Information/ about reveals: 3.9.6 and I noticed the 6x VIX which made no difference to tuning around on our Satellite bouquets, unfortunately.

    Hi all,

Great news, the latest release: OpenViX 6.0.006 (2022-01-01) has resolved the inter channel delay.

The previous release was nine seconds between Irdetto services' and now this is three.

Our appreciation to all for the heavy lifting.

Hi all, from wet, very wet Australia and a new (climate aware) Government!

Discovered the FCC and really enjoying the ability to switch channels like our DUO2's would.

Thank you to all for the development effort, appreciated.

What tuners have you got in there for DVB-T?

Also have you tried the TerrestrialScan plugin on AUS TV?

Thank you for the call and no I haven't tried the plugin, but as I am experimenting again with the HT in general at present and I will look for it and report back.

    Our VU+ DUO4KSE's have: Vuplus DVB-T NIM(BCM3466) (MultiType DVB-C/T2)

Yes Joe we are about 60KM from a sender, but I have a secret ham radio tower (24M) and a large array (lower one with brace in the link below) with pretty good signal after the MH low noise preamp.

Thanks everyone for the magic that is VIX, our family really appreciates the community building this incredible code.

Plugin is in the feeds. The idea is it will sort the channels according to the official numbering. Just select AUS and scan.

Default DUO4KSE, VIX 6.1.004, installed TerrestrialScan and scanned.

Too easy, nice channel list, 1001~1057

    Very nice tool, thank you.
