ABM Tuner and config update issue

    Hi Guys,

Been a long time since I was here hope everyone is well

Anyway I have recently setup my VU Ultimo again but have a problem with ABM.

Vix version is 5.1.027 which I downloaded and did a full flash with this afternoon

When I try to scan with ABM I get :

Failed to tune Virgin UK on tuner C.

    Please check the following;
    The tuner is correctly configured.
You can receive the specified frequency.

Also if I try to update ABM config it fails on the version check

    Incompatible versions: 2.9 > 3.0

    Any help appreciated

What netid are you using? There's been a few with frequency issues and sorted with update config files.

If you're netid is one of the areas recently affected I'll attach latest virgin uk.xml file here

    Download the attached cable_uk_virgin.xml

Send the cable_uk_virgin.xml to \usr\lib\enigma2\python\Plugins\SystemPlugins\Auto BouquetsMaker\providers and rescan ABM

    You shouldn't be seeing "Incompatible versions: 2.9 > 3.0" if you're on 5.1.027

ABM version was bumped today due to python changes for channel swap but only effects Sky Uk/Irl at the minuet so he should be fine updating Virgin UK https://github.com/oe-alliance/AutoB...5cedf0d493ae6b

All config file updates will fail unless you are on 3.0

Is there one forthcoming as obviously all the changes $ly did could affect a lot of people.

Is it not easier, and if possible, to just update your feeds (without building all the images you support)?

Or even just update ABM for the few different versions (arm, mips, etc) and replace with existing versions in the feeds?

If so, then all we would have to do is remove ABM, opkg update, and install it again.

All we have changed is the swaps mechanism. Nothing major.

The ABM ipk has to be transferred to all machine feeds. The feeds package updated for all machines.
