    Kodi doesn't launch after install

    Hi,

I've made a fresh install of Kodi on OpenVIX 6.3, but I've found that install process stopped abpruptly after 10 seconds. After that, when I try to start Kodi from the launcher, a black screen appear for 2-3 seconds, but Kodi didn't start. I had the same problem with Kodi on OpenVIX 6.2, and I really need to find a solution.

I've tried to look in kodi logs (/tmp/kodi/), but nothing interesting there. Also nothing in the logs for the box (no error during install, no error during launch).

    Hi,
activate debug logs, then deinstall, reinstall and start kodi.

Nothing works. Here are a part of the logs that could be relevant:

I've reflashed, but for nothing. The only difference is that install process take longer after fresh install.
Here what I've done: immediately after reflash, I've installed Kodi and restarted, but same problem as before.

On my Vu+Duo4kSE, kodi 20.0 is working, but I use OpenVix 6.3.002.

Anybody know if Kodi 20.1 is ready for OpenVIX ?

Having a newer version is nice, but a WORKING version is better! How is it possible to contact OpenVIX developers to report the bug?

This is an OE-A plugin, not provided by the OpenViX developers.

no. We are only going to update kodi once per version.

I tried kodi today in the latest release image and it downloads, installs and starts.

If anyone has a problem with kodi please complain to the plugin authors. This is not our problem.
