5.4.001 forward and rewind buttons do not work in timeshift

Why do they need to intentionally disable these buttons? This is the functionality that people pay for and are willing to use it.

Patience! The fixes have been submitted. Once a production Release is built you will have the changes - see @abu's post #11. In the meantime you can use the numeric keys to skip backwards and forwards in the buffer.

This problem has been fixed and works fine on 5.4.002 - THANKS!

The only problem I can still notice is the pause/forward/FFW icons on the theme are being duplicated with in timeshift - please see attached screenshot. It is as if the theme is superimposing on default icons or something like that.

EDIT: Theme used is enigma2-plugin-skins-openvix-simple-ten-eighty (5.4+git2412+722b271-r4), but have tried the default too.
