I have installed oscam-emu from softcam plugins and it shows in softcam manager, but I cannot enable it as it crashes during "Wait please while scanning for softcam's".

In python3 images, which hopefully we will move to shortly, you have the existing method and also the support from starting Oscam by script (a la OpenPli/OpenATV).
It would be interesting to see if you experience this issue in py3 as the Oscams are identical to those used by other images.

I had the same problem with a 4k ultimo, just done the fix and the online update, all fine thanks.
I have installed image 5.4.015 in multiboot but when certain to activate the softcam installed from the panel I get a crash.
I attach log ,,,,,, can you tell me where the error is and how can I solve it? Thank you

.... I'm not seeing any online updates for 5.4.015 (Release) (which is what I'd expect).
Sorry rechecked again as i was on 014 that had the online update.
5.4 016 is building with the fix.

Hey guys, I have this issue with a zero, oscam stopped working, box crashing when you check the softcam manager.
Have tried the fix by installing the python file, no joy here. Should it be the same routine for a Zero?
Also tried regression to 5.4.013 but i cannot get my oscam to work.
