I've ordered the VU+ Uno 4K SE and GT-Sat GT-S2DCSS24
So far so good, I've got the Uno4K connected to my normal LNB and I've been recording and playing back with just one cable in LNB1.
Tomorrow I add the new LNB.
This GT-Sat GT-S2DCSS24 has got 3 outputs on it and I'm not sure which one I connect the cable to so I can setup the Tuners in this guide - https://www.world-of-satellite.com/s...configuration?
Legacy or DSCC?
If it's DCSS what are the Legacy outputs for?
If it's Legacy what is the DCSS output for?
Thanks for any help.
Simple answer: just use unicable port.
Long answer :
That LNB has both technologies, Unicable/DCSS and Universal LNB. A typical usage is Unicable to several tuners/devices, legacy to Freesat receiver.
Golden rule is tuner config (software) must match the reception equipment (hardware) connected/hooked up/attached to it.
Bother, attachments missing from that thread. I'll see if I can find them again

Thanks for everything.
I put the cable in the DCSS output and I now have 8 channels I can record at the same time.
I've also got 5x Fire devices with an E2 plugin accessing it.
I've also bought the HDMI Splitter so my wife can watch on the main TV and it also feeds 20m under the floor to my TV in another room.
The only difference from your wonderful Unicable instructions is that when I get to Tuner C onwards I couldn't set Advanced but was only given FBC SCR (Unicable/JESS) or FBC Automatic so set to FBC SCR.
