    Any Editors for Linux ?

Hi, as my PC has died on me and its going to be a few weeks until I get round to sorting it out I was wondering if theres a program similar to DBedit that is specificaly for Linux? I have tried running DBedit under Wine but it does not run properly. As I`m using my Laptop for a few weeks that has openSUSE on it I realy need to find a program for my needs. Thanks

ftp to the box like root and type followings in order to install the best tool : "mc" (also includes internal editor / F4)
    ipkg update
    ipkg install mc
when finished type "mc" and you can do whatever u want from there and u'll don't need any other tool; just be careful as you are logged as root
of course all this will need a Internet conn to the box
