    Updating/Removing plugins

Just installed a softcam from the "downloadable plugins" section.
It works great, but I'm asking how to update this softcam once a new version is placed in the feed.
Also, how can I remove it if needed? I see the softcam in the "Plugin installed by user" section, but no Remove commands are available. Thanks.

When you perform a software update, it should update everything that is updated on the plugin server that has a higher version number. However, some of the version numbers of oscam are a git()0 on ViX. This doesn't affect those who flash and restore but affects those of us who perform a software update.

When you are in plugin menu, red button is to remove them.

    Understood about the updates.
But regarding Plugins removal I'm a little bit confused.
In the Plugin menu I can select the desired plugin and remove it with the Red key.
But here I don't see the softcam I downloaded from the feed. To see this one I must enter in the User installed Plugins section (Yellow key). From here I see the plugin but I can only close the window with the Red key, no Remove command.
Could you please clarify this topic? Thanks.

When you say downloaded from the feed, what do you actually mean? Please describe exactly how you downloaded from the feed and then installed it.

Yes! Understood now. I did not know that hitting Remove in the first screen would pick up the plugin list.
I thought that it was a direct removal based on the selected plugin.
    Good advice. Thanks.

I looked in the plugin list ready for download using the receiver remote control.
Just downloaded oscam, did not know how to remove it if needed in the future (I do not need to remove it yet, it works!).
Now I understand that pushing the Red key (Remove) in the plugin menu a plugin list does appear, I thought it was such a direct removal and did not want to try without knowing exactly what I was doing. Thanks.

Just like a PC you don't just delete programmes off the file system, you use the uninstall app, otherwise you are not going to uninstall them properly.
