    UK Freeview, Exclude HbbTv

Hi all, is it possible to exclude the HbbTv channels from a scan so they don't appear in the EPG?
The reason being some of my AutoTimers are setting timers on them and I end up with lots of recordings of zero bytes.
Sorry if this is answered elsewhere but could not find anything relevant.
I only just learned about HbbTv last night after finding these empty recordings so I am a bit behind the times!
    Thanks for any assistance.

? HbbTv services are mainly for the German services - so are you scanning 19.2E as well as 28.2E?

Well these HbbTv channels appear in the EPG but they just give a black screen and no audio. If an autotimer finds a match on one of these channels it records the black screen which end up as 0 bytes. It's all very odd, not sure if I need more up to date tuners or something? I think these internet channels are a fairly new thing in the UK, although I don't keep up with these things so maybe they've been a problem for ages.

I have not got my aerial connected. They used to show the hbbtv icon, I uploaded the raw stream recording that was inspected, it show the hbbtv markings. It is a propriety software by the BBC.

The issue to look at is the failed timers/recordings.

I cannot find a definitive list online so I have stepped through every channel on the box and the TV. It seems to be channels 61 (GREAT! mystery), 62 (GREAT! romance mix) and 63 (GREAT! player) but I may have missed some. On the TV it does say it is a data channel, pauses and then loads up the channel on 61 and 62. Channel 63 looks to provide channels in a similar manner to BBC iPlayer.
I may be able to exclude those channels from Autotimers somehow.

** It does seem these channels have only just launched in the last week so this could just be a new thing that Openvix or ABM will have to cope with.

The timers seem to work fine themselves but if I cannot even view the channels live then there is no hope in recording them.

Please upload a debug log showing your ABM run. Upload debug logs. List the channels that should not be there. Not everyone is in the same area as you.

In Finland we have HbbTV, but none of the images shows it, because we have here version 2.0 and the image is having maybe version 1.0 ?
Is HbbTV code closed source ?
    - Vu+ Ultimo 4K for developer image -
    - Vu+ Uno 4K SE for release image -

Yes hbbtv binary is from manufacturer and closed source. There is no opensource solution that works yet

I have excluded them by number, It didn't like the exclamation mark when I did it by name. Somebody will have to remind us to update them when there is a reshuffle. Please update the provider files uisng the option in ABM and then run ABM again. They will be removed from your bouquets. Make sure your autotimers are restricted to channels in bouquets. Those channels will get added to your lamedb by background scans if you are on same multiplex.
