    OPENATV Not working

    I have downloaded from openvix images, the image of OPENATV, but once tou want to ftp to OPENATV, using root, you can not. Any help?

    Telnet to box (e.g. using putty) and add password (enter passwd command)

    Ok. I would try this afternoon and I let you Know, but, once in telnet what do i have to writte?.

    When i try to connect through ftp i can read. "Acces violation at adress 0052b206 in module vuc.exe. Read of adress 00000000. Any clue?

    New images need the user to enter a password on box via remote and did you do that.

    If using FileZilla you now have to enter your password you entered on box . I suggest write it down so as not to forget.

    I am running two images on my vu duo 2, one is openvix and the other openatv. I can connect to openvix without any problem and using password, but if i do that with openatv, i mean using root and my password like i do with openvix i receive the message: Acces violation.......................

    Well you need to set a password in both images.
