    Probleem met kanaal zoeken

    Hallo,

    Edsel

When I do a manual scan I select Type of Scan Single satellite and define the satellite.
Question 1: Have you attached the LNB coax cable to Tuner B?

Can you try with my settings if you get more

    Hallo Nekrub2,

    Bedankt voor je antwoord.
Ik heb zowel LNB A als LNB B geprobeerd.
Ook jouw instellingen heb ik geprobeerd, single satellite, enz. Maar ze geven allemaal hetzelfde resultaat.

Can you check the signal quality SNR on one of the found stations.
Setup > Tunters & Scanning > Signal Finder.

If the SNR is low (50% or below) I would try adjusting the dish. I get for my stations 85 - 95% . After adjusting your dish you can do a second scan.

    Good luck

What stations can your receive? I noticed that they are all HD and having checked them on Lyngsat Hotbird I did not find these frequencies. Could it be that you direct to another sat nearby?

    Hi,

The SNR is around 80%, but only for one (1) responder. All the other frequences are zero.

From your setup picture I see that you have setup Tuner A. You confirmed that you have plugged in you coax cable to Tuner B.
You should set up Tuner A to loop-through and Tuner B to
    Configuration Mode Simple
    Mode Single
    Satellite "automatic"

I cannot give you a screenshot as I have a twin head and a diseq to switch between astra 19.0 and hotbird 13.0. I just refer to the openvix manual.
    Hope this helps.

Thank you for your support, nekrub2!

I made the settings you asked for, but Satellite "automatic" did not work for me: It scanned a few satellites and returned with Satellite: "not configured"
Then I chose Satellite: "Hotbird" instead and did the automatic channelscan and it returned only the 23 same channels.

Before I opened my thread here on the forum I had moved the Coax cable to Tuner B since nothing worked. It was a last try to see if the problem depended on the A Tuner. But it shows the same problem and only finds these 23 channels.
So Now I have put the system back as it initially was:
    Coax cable on Tuner A
Tuner A on Mode: simple, Mode Single and Satellite: Hotbird
Tuner B on "Equal to tuner A" (I guess this is the same as "loop-through" since that choice did not exist)

With these settings I made a "Blind Scan" and it returned with the 23 channels again.

There is a similar thread in the VU+ Solo2 forum

    https://www.world-of-satellite.com/s...tellite-config

The moderator Abu Baniaz suggested as I did. Maybe you contact him via PM and send him a link of this thread. I wouldn't know what else I could suggest you.

    Thank you, nekrub2!
I think I will start a new thread in that subforum.
But it can also be something wrong with my equipment.

    Channel search problem

    Hello,

A few days ago I flashed my VU+ Solo2 with "Openvix 6 3 007 Release Vusolo2 Usb". Everything works great, but when I start scanning channels (1 LNB, aimed at Hotbird 13B/13C/13E) my Solo2 only finds 23 channels. After some searching I came to the conclusion that it only scans one transponder. When I do a blind scan, it finds 4 transponders, but the channels found all belong to the same transponder (see images).

I've tried everything, but no matter what settings I change, I always get the same result.

Is there anyone here who can shed light on this problem?

    Thank you in advance,

    Edsel

    Hello Nekrub2,

    Thanks for your reply.
I have tried both LNB A and LNB B.
I also tried your settings, single satellite, etc. But they all give the same result.

Now - Hotbird at 13E should return 1000's (well at least 1,000) channels if you are scanning the entire satellite constellation, so getting only 23 channels would indicate that only one transponder is being scanned. @edsel - are you sure that you are scanning the entire satellite and not just one transponder?
