Crashing when pressing EPG button

Hi

I have fresh reflashed a Zgemma h9s box and all i have done is set up ABM but as soon as i press EPG button to bring up boquets list i get a crash. I can press the fav button and that brings the list but not when EPG button. I have deleted boquets and rescanned and list does appear but then it crashes again. Flash memory is fine.
Any ideas welcome. Thanks

Your debug log is from 2019. The screenshot says that you have run out of space. Maybe you attached wrong items?

Did you by any chance install the EPG mods?

Did you by any chance install the EPG mods?

Do you get a crash if you select a channel by using the channel selection coding first (i.e not using the EPG button) at first, then pressing the EPG button on second occasion? Do you have any bouquets with actual DVB services i.e all your bouquets are not just IPTV?

sorry, whats EPG mods? Only installed from usb stick and no additional plugins., I think i changed the skin and that was about it form youvix to night skin

If you don't know what the EPG mods are, then you most likely have not installed them. They add the bouquet name tabs.

Can you please answer the other questions? The system is not finding your bouquet names.

if going through channel selection route first , folloed by EPG then that works.

I beleive you have recrreated the crash issue yourself now.

I have not been able to recreate your crash yet. Flashed the box, no restores, set tuner, change skin to Youvix, restarted, run ABM, pressed EPG, showed and empty all channels bouquet and did not crash. I have tried this twice on a duo 4k.

If not done so, can you turn on debug logs (menu/setup/system/logs/settings enable, save otehr than flash, use local time not boot time)

Then in putty, init 4 (space between)
copy attachment to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens
In putty, init 3 (space between)

Let us know what happens and post debug log.....

He has set options in EPG to always show bouquets and also show number/name
config.epgselection.grid.servicetitle_mode=service number+servicename

After restart, run ABM, exit out of all menus, press EPG, select and enter the Sky UK all channels bouquet, BBC One HD will be highlighted, press OK to activate it, press exit, press EPG again and it should crash.

EDIT:
It does not crash if I repeat above preparations/steps and perform a manual scan (single transponder) instead of using ABM.

I flashed 6.3 007.003 with no restores just in case I made error on transferring file. It crashed for me on second attempt. Crash log is slightly different and going to ChannelSelection.py.
