I am have a vu+ duo2 and I have decided too upgrade to the vu+ duo 4k se is there anyway to copy my satellite positions from my duo2 to the duo 4k se.

What tuners are in each box?

standard sat tuner and dvb-t2

You can copy your tuner setting for tuners 0 and 1 from the settings file on box a to box b. Then stop enigma on box b, ftp the setting file to box b and restart enigma. "settings" file is in "/etc/enigma2".

Is there a guide anywhere showing how to do this.

There are lots of guides but you need to join the dots.

1. Connect to box A with FTP.
2. Download /etc/enigma2/settings.
3. Do the same for box B.
4. Now you need to copy/paste the config.Nims.0 and config.Nims.1 sections from file A to file B.
5. Connect to box B via ssh and send "init 4". This stops enigma.
6. FTP the modified settings file to the box.
7. Now send "init 3" over ssh. This will restart enigma.
8. That is it.

If this is too difficult, set it up using the GUI.
