    Help with Picon installation

I have had to do a complete clean rebuild to openvix 6.2.002 and not able to use any of my backups and cannot remember how I installed picons, although I assume installation must have changed since I did it a few years ago. Is it best to put the file in flash, or USB?

I have downloaded a picon file from downloads, the picons are showing on the TV screen but not on the left panel of the Duo 2 box. Have manged to get the smaller middle screen working.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Your existing picons should just work with linux4lcd. Please post your debug.

I can't see how that plugin could ever work.

It checks for picon using "Renderer.Picon.getPiconName", which returns a fully qualified path and then concatenates that to another folder path.

Have check and does not appear to be a debug log, could this be due my clean install, or could I be looking in the wrong place?

I do still have picons in media / usb.

I have also downloaded picons from downloads, which appear in the EPG, but nothing showing on the box. The middle screen I have managed to configure and is working ok.

Have you enabled debug logs and restarted? Mr Servo had re-added it after he had inadvertently removed it. But that was before the branches were merged. If it is not working, we can get him to look at it again.

Thanks for looking at it, could you explain a bit more about what you mean (right pad)?

picons are located somewhere and in LCD4config you need to set the right directory where your picons are.Mine are simply in root .
