Problem with file player

As its a short recording pressing the 3 button might be hitting the end of file

Maybe. However, it is 2 minute recording. Button 1 and 3's default option are 15 seconds.

I see there is a new Ubuntu build available (22.04 LTS). I'm currently using 21.10 so I've started an upgrade of my build box, then will compile again

22.04 is really straight forward, no issues for building

I tried the file on a H9 SE on 6.1 004 Release, pressing 3 just exits.

Same result on OpenATV 7.1 (04may)

OK, a development. The 6.2.001.004 dev image image from ronand seems to work. as others have noted, the standard REW doesn't work although the x2, x4 etc appears on the GUI. The Skip forward button starts FF rather than skipping forward to the next marker but that's not a problem as the 1,3 etc do work where my 6.2.001.004 build did not work. The progress bar on the screen doesn't look right, seems to lag a long way behind the progress of the file, again not a problem

Could it be something in Ubuntu that caused that? I'm currently upgrading to the 22.04 LTS and will build new images later to see if I can get one that works

I've now built 6.2.001.009 with the Ubuntu 22.04LTE and it's stepping forward and backwards OK, so that bug is fixed. Still not rewinding as others had noted.

Did you get anywhere with this mate? I tried a new build and still the same issue

So go into menu/setup/recordings and set it to record 4097 as service type 1, thats one of the reasons we added this feature.
