So, the router is connected to mobile broadband? Because it's active, the box is probably trying to establish an internet connection. Doesn't explain why it comes up quicker in V5. Must be some difference in the networking stack in V6. @huevos and @birdman will find it, no doubt

Enigma2 hasn't started at this point, so v5/v6 won't make any difference.
We're still starting the underlying Linux system, and that's unlikely to have changed (much?).
