Timers not working...then displaying end time previous to start time

The title of this post explains what's happening.......and it's driving me nuts.

I'm using Openvix (can't remember which version, but it's the last one that could be loaded via internet.)

    Anyway.....

I set a timer start (regular timer, not auto) for say 1800 and a timer stop for 1830....and make it a repeat from Mon-Fri.

VU+ Duo shows "waiting" as you'd expect. Plenty of space on HDD.

    1800 comes around.....timer doesn't start.

Look at GUI or Openwebif afterwards and the timer start shows 1759.

    Huh?

    Anyone know what's causing this?

Timers usually come on minutes before its set for and after extra minutes it stops.

Record once will just record this single episode.
Record weekly will record a weekly series

Where is recorded items going to location is correct and mounts show ext4

Automatic padding at the start and end of a recording - from memory a recording starts 3 minutes early and continues 3 to 5 minutes after the end. Padding is user configurable in one of the openvix menus.

If you go to the timer and press info on your remote you should get a debug information screen showing what happened to the timer.

I'll assume this is the bigger problem.

When you look at the timer, press Info, and it will display what has happened to it.
This may shed some light on things.

I think I've solved it. The "what to do after timer ends" was set to "go into standby" - which seems to have been the problem. Once I changed it to "do nothing" the timers seems to be working again. Odd!

But did it actually record anything with the previous setting?
    If not, its a bug.
Although why "what to do at the end" should affect the beginning seems a little odd.
