They will be asking if using fixed dishes or motorised.

If you have feeds to the different rooms or none yet.

If you want 1 feed to box with a switch to other sats.

I go the other way with multiple cable runs to allow to view on 1 and recording on others.

Types of boxes you might want to use single tuner , twin tuner , triple tuner , quad tuner if any still left and a freeview / saorview tuner for terrestrial feeds by aerial on roof.

If you want to record on other tuners more feeds are needed.

There is also Unicable which i dont use but if starting from scratch might be the future ??

    No, is not motorised.
It will be 2x sat dish with 3 LNB (1+2 one dish with 2 LNB)
I have 3 receivers (physically 2 but one is VU+ Uno 4k SE with two input from LNB + one separately receiver).
Idea is to use wide band LNB + multi-switch and 3 cable to 3 receivers.
But it could be quite expensive. So, I think about Quadro LNB plus three 4-way DiSEqC Switch.
It could be cheaper but it will be lots of cable (3 cable for 3 LNB).
So, my question is, which way is better? Using wide band LNB and multiswitch or just DiSEqC Switch - and in multiswitch scenario, I have no idea what kind of hardware I could use.

What do you want to achieve in terms of viewing/recording across all receivers? For what purpose for the end users. It is better for you to describe what you want to achieve and get your equipment to suit those needs.

    Which three satellites?
    Why two dishes?
Which three receivers do you have? One is an Uno 4K SE, what are the other two.
Draw a picture of your current layout, include number of signal wires you have to each location. Label the satellites etc

    Hi, thanks for reply.
I want achieve to use independent 3 receivers from 3 satellite feeds.
So any 3 receivers can watch any channel from 3 satellite independent.
Two dishes - because I have 2 dishes and much easiest is to setting up, if is one LNB or just 2.
Current layout is just to use 2 LNB from one dish and one receiver. LNB are unicable.
But I have old dish, so I plan to use it as one satellite (ex: 13e) and another with 2 LNB (ex: 19e, 28e)
I also have another receiver, so I plan use them in different localisation at home.
So, in simplify - I wand feed from 3 satellite and wach independently those 3 satellite on 3 receivers.

How far apart are the dishes from each other.

    Satellite receivers are Enigma2
Dishes - to simplify, I will give up 2 dishes, all LNBs will be on one dish.

Do you wish to record as not said.

    Are sizes of dishes suitable

If you have a working sat dish is it worth removing as it could be a backup

Which Enigma2 receivers? How many tuners do they have and what type of tuners are they?

Hopefully you will provide as much information as possible. I think the best option will be to use client mode, but let's see what you have first.

    I made some research.
    And I have 2 options.

    1. Quad LNB - plus three 4-way DiSEqC Switch.
Lots of cable, but is not very expensive.
Pros - relatively cheep, and easy to install.
Cons - not much space for upgrade, only one more receiver (quad LNB).

    2. Multiswitch
Pros - very easy to be extended for more receivers.
Cons - expensive. Multiswitch for 3 LNB cost around 120, Quattro LNB - are more expensive then Quad LNB. Still need 4 cable each LNB.

I can't find any other scenario.
So probably I will go for Quad LNB and 4-way DiSEqC.

    How?
How you can connect 3 receivers with 3 LNB using unicable LNB?
    What I know is impossible.
Only if you use unicable multiswitch.
But if I'm wrong, can you give me idea about hardware using unicable?

You could use the 3 unicable lnb's and 3x 3 way coax splitters which could give you 1 feed to each box.

However you can't use diseqc switches with unicable (atleast i've not managed to get it working when i've tried).

But you could use a manual A/B switch, so you can switch between which which feed takes up the 2nd tuner (i.e put 13e and 19.2e on the A/B switch).

It's not ideal but it is far cheaper than multiswitches and the like and only requires 3 runs of cable from the lnb's (1 from each lnb) to the splitters which you would locate inside the house.

He still has not said what the other satellite receivers are.

To use combiners and multiple unicable LNBs, he has to buy programmable ones. The programmers are over 100.

He has a Uno 4K with an FBC matrix/tuner complex that has two inputs. Personally, I would use the unitron/sky compatible unicable switches. They are very cheap on ebay. You will have to use Quattro LNBs. Two of the switches can go directly to the Uno 4k, that will have two satellites on four tuners/demodulators each. Depending on the requirements capabilities of the other receivers, he can supply them with signal from the other satellite. The receivers can then have fallback tuners or Remote channel stream converter.

A diseqc switch can only allow signal via one route, so it limits the tuners.
